I'll pass. He is on tv everyday it seems. Nothing new coming tonight. I am pretty sure the "personal responsibility" speech was thrown away right after he puked on it.

True. Obama's "world changing, straight from the heart" weekly speeches don't quite have the weight of the annual "Very Special Episode" of Punky Brewster.

Neat how they won't let any Senators meet with the media following this address.

Great speech and to the Point.

are you really that out of touch with simplé mathmatics, logistics, and thed common knowledge that the vast majority of gov't programs are extremely innefficient financially compared to private entities of a similar design? Or are you honestly that ignorant and content sucking of the sow's teat?

Great speech and to the Point.

He might as well take advantage of his one and only strength. Reality ruins all of his idealism, but the lies sound good while he's spouting them, assuming the t-prompter is operational.

McCain is on CNN right now, FWIW.

...also...

McCain just addressed some pretty good points about what the republicans still have issue with. I'm glad he called out how the public option would interfere with private plans and how that wasn't adequately addressed by the president.

He also just said that the congressman who called Obama a liar was disrespectful and should apologize immediately.

Awesome. So this will be paid for by eliminating all the waste that currently exists with government run medical programs. Makes perfect sense to me. I hate these people.

I don't blame said congressman. Biting your tounge is ok at times, but eventually after hearing lying BS time and again, i'm glad someone had the sack to stand up.

I liked the idea of cutting spending to offset if the savings don't come to fruition.

...I think it is pure fantasy, but it sounds good nonetheless.

You are lost in your own kind of self sustaining ignorance as well. In so much as you continue to look down from your perch upon which sits the arrogant, the omnipotent, representative of the ones who have always stood on the backs of the poor and less fortunate. Whom would rather insult than contribute, simply because of the inability to accept that someone has an opposing point of view. Whose greatest accomplishment is the ability to complain.

Whether you agree or disagree . . . cat calling the President of the United States during a speech to a joint session of Congress automatically garners assclown status IMO.

I prefer they just get out of it altogether.

We can look forward to a healthcare system that rivals our K-12 education system. Yea!
