The longer it goes without a decision being made, the more likely it is that the decision has been made-- to do nothing. I am beginning to believe that UT will give Dooley another year because the AD doesn't want to spend $$$ on a buyout and thinks the fan outrage will die down again like it did after UK.

His comment about telling Bray he should have done something on 3rd down and saying there was miscommunication on his pooch punt??

Seriously, if something doesn't happen soon it could get even uglier from here out. I think he's lost the players and defintely lost the fan base.

I was there Saturday and won't stop bleeding orange, but stuff like this makes it hard sometimes.

Typical Monday press conference. The pitchfork and mattress crowd will look for a quote to bash and say how much Dooley sucks (which he does). Nothing he said was outrageous lol

The head-bobbing, stroking his chin and neck as though checking out his shave this morning, and his eyes roving all around instead of remaining focused... all contributed to the appearance of a very high level of anxiety. I believe he knows the last game of the season is his last. Doesn't the program save a little money if he is released after 12/01?

Did everyone really think he was going to come out in this press conference saying he is the worst coach of all time and fire himself? He is saying what any coach would in this situation.

I am serious...that was what we played most of the way Saturday. Six in the box. We were in a prevent defense most of the way. Doesn't work too good in overtime with teams starting on the 25

No, that's Chizik. Dooley is a better lawyer-- his buyout doesn't decrease until right before NSD. He used every tactic to put us over a barrel.

LAWL. It's gonna be fun watching you all squirm for these next two weeks. There's not gonna be a decision until the end of the season. We all know what it'll more than likely be, but it's not happening yet. And I'd be strung out too if my family and team were being bombarded with all these reports and I had to tell them otherwise. I think this is just cruel for him though. Just put him out of his misery already...

Yes, I watched it without volume and am trained in reading body language. He was agitated from the start and it got worse as it went along. Was that the shortest Monday press conference of his three years?

I am not aware of any money savings by letting him hang on until December 1st. There may be some. I have not read his contract
