Press Conference...Noon Today

If she picked it out, it probably look more like this...

Stupid dawgs.

Whoa, that's awkward.

Congrats on the engagement; I'm out of the loop, as usual. :hi:

I doubt Hart is lying to him

Wouldn't be a lie. Unless he has a pile of cash lying around somewhere then Hart does not actually have the power to fire him because of the buy out. He probably told him that things had not gone as they both hoped. He then probably said that while a final decision would not come until after the season it was his responsibility to prepare for the possibility/probability of hiring a new coach... so "I will be conducting a search for the next two weeks. If you do not remain, remember these last two games will be the last two things to go on your resume."

I don't see how a "frank" discussion could be anything less than being put on notice that he was not likely to return.

Emerald cuts are beautiful, but they're out of fashion, because they have a little less sparkle than round cuts (translation: they can't bring down an orbiting satellite, even when aimed properly.) You can get a much bigger emerald cut per weight for the same amount of money as a round.

* attempts to prop left hand back up *

OK, back to the other stuff.

Yeah, that is where I was going with that. If you can get her to pick out a shape, then knowing your budget, you can go to the store and more quickly get dialed in on the size. The color and clarity will somewhat be defined by your budget. My wife went for the marquise

The defense held them to 54 yds in the first half. Did you predict 53 or something?

The sad thing is, Bray is about the pass Peyton's single season yards record, and as good as the offense is, they can't outplay the deficiency on the other side of the ball.
No but the d in the first half played sec ball. The coaches failed to adjust in the second half and it showed.. The defense in the first half played like a team that was coached well they didnt in the second

Can Dave Hart pull this bandaid off any slower? I mean seriously, this losing skid and the constant hotseat rumors must be doing a number on recruiting. Are we talking about a 2008-type recruiting ranking whether Dooley's retained or not?

My question for Vol Calls tomorrow night...

In the fourth overtime, we call time out to go for it on 4th and 3. That is gutsy, but ok.

We have two wide receivers who will be drafted by the NFL in the first round in April. We also have a tight end, who had ten catches on Saturday, and will also be playing on Sundays next year. Yet, someone, somewhere, said....hey, let's run that play where we chunk it toward the dude who will be working in the shoe store next year. On fourth down, it seems that we should perhaps go to the hot hand. But what do I know? I am just the chancellor.

First thing that is a big help....find out the shape she likes....then you off and running.

You generally can't lose with the round, marquise, or oval. Personally I'm not a fan of letting the girl pick the ring. She needs to like what you got her b/c you got it for her. (Caveat: If you're the kind of guy that has no fashion sense then my above statement does not apply to you. If you're considering Diamoids or something that looks like costume jewelry invite her sister or best friend to go with you to the store.)

Under no circumstance should you start down the road of letting her call the shots that are clearly yours to make. The guy picks the ring, plans his own bachelor party, handles the proposal, and shows up at the church. All other things are handled by the chick. If she picks chocolate cake but you like vanilla, you suck it up and eat chocolate cake and tell her how delicious it is.

I've been happily married to a Vol-ette for 12yrs. Married on a Third Saturday in October and we all watched the game at the reception. We won that year. Better times. :hi:

Would you consider renewing your vows? We need all the luck we can get. :)

PS: Hubby named the $$$ range, I researched a couple of zillion different designs, we designed one with the help of a jeweler. More than one way to skin a cat. :hi:

Zro > Hunter. Hunter dropped the Td pass on first down. Should have did a option with Aj and Cp. We never ran the ball In OT .

Dooley said "That's why you play for 60 minutes". Then why in the heck did you not use the last 40 secs!?

His a** needs to go!

When, in the name of all that is holy, has a Dooley-coached team ever played for 60 minutes?!? Thirty minutes, maybe. Forty minutes, tops.

Hart and Cheek are using the rope a dope strategy, delaying hiring/firing until all the good/expensive coaches are taken up. Pennywise and Football stupid!

UT has settled for bottom of the Conference standings.
Question: will we ever get to where Vanderbilt is Now with 4 conference Wins? Sick question?....maybe...but it is what it is....Tennesseans may root for Vandy until order can be restored once again on the Hill.....Waiting and Waiting and Waiting.......still Waiting

It's Hart's first year. I think he is legitimately trying to be class about the situation. I believe that changes will be made and Hart will show Dooley the door but he wants to handle it classy. Doesn't want the future coach to be like "whoa, they just cut him off". So lets not all get worked up just because its not yet official.

If Hart were trying to be classy... he should voice his support for the football team and its coach... in public... until the end. He has not done that. Cowardice on his part.
