I don't think they actually "flagged" me but I was required to submit my GPA to central office when I took my test. Apparently a student who sat close to me had very similar scores. Maybe I would have had to retake it if I was a 5* athlete.

Seriously? There are academic scholarships and very competitive at that and test scores can play a large role in those... and even just getting into a school. I'd wafer far more of the scores are re[prted for this than for football...

The NCAA has nothing to do with or about non-athlete test scores. they do not care about them. Their entire being is dealing with college athletics and athletes. it is why they exist.

I'm sure there are plenty of entities that do care about those kids scores but NCAA is certainly not one.

That's not even close to what I'm saying. The other guy said he'd never heard of this happening to a non athlete.

Therefore I was saying he's never heard of it because no one (news outlets, etc) would report on a non athletes score being flagged. It's a non story unless the kid is an athlete.

Par for the course. Kids will always have trouble with making grades/passing tests, staying healthy and keeping out of trouble. No school in America can avoid it. So yes, you are paying attention more.
