So my little brother has been out and about visiting colleges this year. He has been telling me about each campus he has visited and it got me wondering..What college campuses are the the ones that stand out to you? What are the ugliest?

What type of college is he looking at? I don't think one can compare a large university to a small private college.
Also, beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

In my opinion Colorado-Boulder is pretty spectacular. I love the Rockies and the campus is nestled in the foothills.
If one likes urban type campuses I think ours is great. I visited our campus for the first time in 5 years for the Florida game and thought it looked fantastic.

Clemson has a pretty unique and nice campus.
UNC Chapel Hill is in the middle of a forest but it very pretty.

If one likes the small private school feel Davidson in NC is quite charming. Wake Forest however was very dissapointing, IMO.

Colorado is the prettiest campus in the country. Followed closely by Pepperdine.

UNC-Chapel Hill has a great collegiate feel to it and a beautiful campus... though quite a few of the students I could do without.
Oddly enough I thought Montana State in Bozeman was pretty.

haven't been there, but Annapolis and the Citadel are both very oddly beautiful while still maintaining their austere feel.

I thought UNC Charlotte was very nice, with nearly all new buildings... I would venture to say nearly all schools in North Carolina are very nice.

Annapolis is hideous. West Point, on the other hand, is absolutely the most beautiful campus in the country.

I would also give a nod to Pepperdine and the University of San Diego (which look remarkably similar).

The way I see West Point, it's a beautiful place from the rear view mirror. It's less pretty through the windshield. Air force is incredible, nestled at the base of Pikes Peak. UVA has a beautiful all Jeffersonian campus. William&Mary is small but impressive.

Depends on what you're after. There are some cool Urban Campuses as well. Georgetown is a sweet place.

Duke has a nice "medvial" feel to it. Ole Miss has the grove which is beautiful. Florida's campus isn't nothing much to brag about. It could have changed, but it used to be....eh at best.

I am a fan of Furman University's campus, Ole Miss is nice as well.

As a USAF vet.....nothing rivals AF Academy...Heavenly place.

Ole Miss has a lot of great scenery...in an acute sense of the word...

Around New England...Dartmouth is pretty wild looking. The foliage here (In RI, not New Hampshire) this past autumn was nuts. Honest to god, and I'd never thought I'd say this, but Cades Cove pales in comparison. Did I blaspheme, I'm sorry.
