The Hurd rumors don't make any sense at all.
He's at the most physically demanding position in football. At RB, you want to get into the NFL as soon as you can to earn your paychecks. When we recruited Hurd, he looked like a 3-and-done type of guy. He's performed about as expected and nothing has really changed. He's still probably a 1st Round draft pick in 2017 assuming he stays healthy. So why would he transfer, sit out a year, and then not enter the draft till 2018? Doesn't make a lot of sense.
Even sharing the ball with another RB and a running QB, he still racked up over 1,100 yards this season. It's possible he's had some "frustrations", but honestly, any player that cares has some "frustrations." The Ohio State player that caused the media firestorm with his "frustration with the offense" basically walked back all those comments this week, saying he let emotions get the best of him.
