It was a riot and even though I initially poo pooed the idea of calling it an insurrection I can see why some would call it that. BUT no matter what it's called the perpetrators are being charged and rounded up as they should be so I don't get why people are still pearl clutching over it. It was no worse, actually it was nowhere near as bad as many of the riots we had this summer.

Why do you say you don't agree? Is it not possible that a republican can disagree with Trump and/or the actions of the crowd he stirred up? Seems to be happening with McConnell, Cheney, Katko, Sasse, Murkowski and others...

It’s been debunked over and over, and he still manages to rally narrow-minded people into doing the unspeakable. It makes me sad for the country I know and love.

I know some people don’t want to hear it. They never will. Once you’re emotionally attached to a position, you’ll most likely never be convinced otherwise. No amount of logic or proof to the contrary can turn you away from what you want to believe.

The children of supporters of President Donald Trump should be seized and placed in “re-education camps,” said Michael Beller, principal counsel at PBS, whose comments were captured as part of a Project Veritas investigation published on Tuesday.

Beller said, “Even if Biden wins, we go for all the Republican voters, and Homeland Security will take their children away, and we’ll put [Trump supporters’ children] into re-education camps.”

Trump’s supporters are raising “horrible children” that will become “horrible people,” claimed Beller.

“Kids who are growing up, knowing nothing but Trump, [Trump supporters] will be raising a generation of intolerant horrible people, horrible kids.”

The PBS lawyer said the spread of COVID-19 in “red states” is “great” because it both dissuades Republicans from coming out to vote while afflicting and killing other Republicans.
