Hey, we don't have to worry about Georgia, because Richt lost 4 games so he will soon be fired.

First, after watching the ACC Football Championship game this year it's easy to see that the Vols would probably win the ACC every year if they were in that conference

This year, yeah. Its only a matter of time before fsu or miami returns to dominance, though. And we've seen how well we do against schools in the state of florida with more talent than us.

Well T-Block if we can't win the ACC where could we go? Do they still have the Ohio Valley Conference with Austin Peay and Tennessee Tech? Now I bet we could win another football championship there!!:)

Maybe we could just move part of our fanbase to the ACC.

The ones that write letters like this,(There are people that aren't kidding about ideas like this.), don't deserve to be Big Orange fans anyway.

We could move them, the Florida fans that were on Zook's case before he ever stepped into Florida and anyone that actually likes Tommy Tubberville over to the ACC.

huh?:dunno: "Thirdly" may not be a word but this has to be the worse composition of a sentence that I've ever seen. What are they teaching at UT since I left?

NO.... we aren't going to pansy out like Georgia Tech or give Florida or Bama the pleasure of seeing us go. I don't know what the reasoning behind this letter is... but if it's because our football team sucks... you really need to rethink that. We play in the toughest conference in the nation, and we turned our program around 10-fold after last year. National championship calibur teams aren't made after a 5-6 season. Give them a break.

Georgia Tech didn't pansy out. In fact, they have more SEC titles than a lot of teams still in the SEC. Anyway, they left because the SEC was about to implement scholarship restrictions. Coach Bobby Dodd (former Vol All-American) didn't want to be pushed into denying injured players their scholarships, so he and Georgia Tech went independent.

For whatever reasons, they are bunch of losers.

I know it's probably hard to compete with gators in the next few years, but we will be here, and not going anywhere.

I want to win the recruiting war between now and February...then win the SEC East and SECCG, and then the NC...if we don't get all those done in the next three years, count me as being absolutely a dissatisfied human being!!!!!!!

Well they didn't leave because they were worried about the competition, if that's what you claim. They won a national championship with Dodd at the helm. That's more than quite a few SEC teams can claim.

Wrong! we will be going somewhere over the next few years............ to second tier bowls like the Outback, Capitol One, Peach, Music City! You can bet Ole Smokey's fleas that we won't be going to a championship game or a BCS bowl playing in the same division as Meyer, Richt and Spurrier!

Nevermind that we beat two of those coaches this year and lost to the third by 1 point.

Gavol, what's the odds of beating all three in the same year? Don't you think Georgia will have the same degree of resurgence in '07 that we had in '06.
