Passing game includes more than just the QB, though I did take note of that quote also
Not sure how he can say the defense played good. Our secondary got lit up.
I honestly don't know why KY was hell bent on trying to run when they had open guys all day thanks to our calls for the secondary

Didn’t have control
not true necessarily. Most the time its ruled incomplete if the ball leaves the receivers hands due to him bobbling it. A WR is allowed to move the ball in their hands/arms to reposition the ball to ensure they bring it in. This is what it seems the refs/review team inferred on this play, is that it was an adjustment by the player and that he was in control of the movement of the ball which again is within the realms of the rule for a completed catch. You can even do this after the foot inbounds has left the ground.

Im glad the offense proved they could win one when it counts. Thornton definitely looked more natural on the outside.

Eh, at the very least it was really close. So we got a close call for a change. I am all for it.
I think it was one of those if it had been called no catch would have also stood. It was very close, after watching it several times it was very difficult to tell if it was a legimate catch. And without it being clear the play stood as called.

That was my initial thought, seeing for the first time last night.

But although the ball can be seen moving, sort of rotating... on closer, frame-by-frame look, I think both his hands remain on the ball the whole time. The rotation movement is being caused by his hands, not from it being bobbled between his hands.

I tried to look at it without orange glasses. See what you think.
