Proud of the way Nico played

Nico looked like he was the only one on that field who really wanted it. Major props to him. He gave it everything. In the end, he didn't get much help from the o-line, coaching, and receiving corps. He's only getting better
He’s tough. Anyone who doubts that needs to follow another sport.

Nico played well for a first year starter but he did not have a good second half of the season passing the ball regardless of his experience level. Part of that is poor offensive line play and part of that is poor decision making on his part

He needs to become the leader/motivator of the team next year. $8 million qb this team ride or dies with you my guy it all starts with you. Just like what Jamal Lewis said of Peyton. It wasn’t just practice to practice. It was 100% game like effort and focus every single snap. Way before they played on Saturdays. Peyton Manning needs to personally mentor Nico asap.

We knew that he is loaded with talent but after last night, only a fool would question his heart and toughness. Yes, we are in good hands. Impressed with him on and off the field..He won 10 games and made they playoffs as a freshman. Kid is solid!

Nico ( rolls eyes ) the JG 2. 9 mill and gets a 100 yards pleaseeee. It’s not all on him I know. Doesn’t see the field WHEN receivers get open or over throws. He might want to see if a smaller school Kent State like has an opening. Only promise land he will lead us to is wait till next year. Can’t even begin to discuss how much effort the fans put in and how little effort the team had last night. Not all on the players. Coaches have to bear the burden also. Hate seeing the team get dominated.

Last night he showed me he has a huge heart and fight. He gave his all.

Let’s remember he’s a freshman who did not have a great game. He missed several receivers. He also had little help from his OL and WR.

Steel sharpens steel. Bring in competition at all positions (including QB). I’m hopeful Nico will grow into a leader on the field, in the locker room, in the community.

Everything Nico does is on raw talent and guts. CJH was vastly oversold as a developer of QBs. If he gets a QB like Hooker who is already developed, he can run his offense and flourish. QBs like Milton and Nico don't grow. When Nico goes in the 7th round like Joe, or worse yet isn't drafted, we'll start seeing our great QB prospects hitting the transfer portal or decommitting.

Just body language. Pay me just another game. Offense did what I expected under 20 points ( again ) Defense needs more Al Wilson’s. Simply no heart. When the competition stepped up we took a back seat.
Maybe you can address the team in Knoxville when they return. They need to hear it straight from an expert.

I don’t think you need to be an expert to see it. I never liked doing someone else’s job when they are being payed handsomely to do it. This group probably expects a pay raise after last nights performance..lol

Showed a lot of heart, but he cant read a defense to save his life. He has Gaurantano level pocket awareness. Has no clue where blitzers are coming from, who his hot is, etc. Going to get himself killed if he doesnt improve drastically.
