I see telling a handful of players not to go to class less serious than commting numeous major NCAA violations (easily the worst in school history and up there with other major historic scndals), putting. UT in major jeopardy of receiving significant sanctions, causing the university to spend millions on investigations, a serious blow the university's reputation and then trying to extort millions for the university for not ratting out basketball, baseball, softball, track & field, golf, tennis, etc. And then only winning 3 games in his last seasonAre you kidding? He and coach O were telling our players not to go to class and getting them to transfer. How is that not burning it down?
I’m not sure who interviews this guy, but I’ve seen his name pop up recently in regards to the Vols.
Ahead of the Tennessee-Georgia game, former Vols’ head coach Jeremy Pruitt discussed the matchup on the “DawgNation Daily Podcast.”
“Georgia is going to block a field goal,” Pruitt said. “I really believe that. If you look at Tennessee, even against Alabama on the game winning field goal, there was a lot of leakage in there. This past week against Kentucky, the same thing.
“You put Jalen Carter in there, and the best players there, there’s a chance. To me, when they block a field goal, are they going to scoop it and score? I really see Georgia blocking a field goal this week.”
Anyway, to he$$ w Pruitt and Go Vols!
I don’t hate the guy. He thought he had a plan that would work. Turns out that plan didn’t work. I’ve been guilty of the same thing before. We live and learn.
Couldn't care less about what that waste of space has to say. Worst UT coaching hire ever.
Again, numerous posters think Kiffin was worse than Pruitt because he tried to take some players with him and other shenanigans that night. How many players ultimately followed him? My feeling is the scholarship reductions self imposed so far plus any additional scholarships that may be pulled by the NCAA are far greater than the number of players Kiffin took. You really don't remember how that went down, do you?

I feel differently for the lengthy list of Pruitt's actions I listed above. And the fallout from Pruitt's actions have still yet to be felt.
Again, you apparently feel 18 major violations is nothing as is attempted blackmail compared to Kiffin trying to take a handful of players.Kiffin's actions left us with a decade of football purgatory.
Pruitt could have never developed this talent but at least left us enough for a great coach to work with.

I guess we'll have to agree disagree.
