Pruitt predicts

Pruitt certainly knows “soft” . . . But seriously, who in their right mind places any credibility or value in what that disaster of a human being says or thinks?

Pruitt is on a podcast with Mike Griffith, dog beat writer. According to Bill King, Pruitt predicted Georgia will block a “field go” against Tennessee. Said Tennessee interior OL on FGs is soft.
He means they might block an extra point.

Why are you even mentioning that Alabubba hick on here?

The same prognosticator who predicted we'd hammer West Virginia......right

Still standing my ground here coach......you payed players to loose to Georgia State and BYU....@stfu please. There is a high school team somewhere that needs you!

Yet in the strangest way possible we wouldn't be sitting here ranked #1 without him. Like I've said before, with every Hendon Hooker touchdown pass, I dislike Pruitt a little bit less.

I don't think anyone can argue the one thing Pruitt did well was talent evaluation. With all the players that left, it's shocking that we aren't completely devoid of talent. He couldn't have developed it, but now we have a coach that can.
That's a fair point.

Good grief. Pruitt recruited Hendon Hooker and the majority of the current squad. He did his best. He may have been a little like Ron Zook preceding Urban Meyer with a solid eye for talent but unable to take it farther. Pruitt made an extremely insightful comment before the Bama game. He said that if the refs allowed Bama to manhandle the Vol receivers - not good for the Vols. If they called pass interference close - the Vols had a chance and he was correct.

During his tenure, we were bad on defense --something he was suppose to be a specialist in. And he paid players and we still lost.
