Pruitt Staffers

Austin Thomas is all but confirmed too...

That leaves us with WR, TE and ST not covered.

I wonder if Weinke would be the WR coach

I don't know where you're getting your info from, but Tee and Nansen (responsible for bringing in our Poly players - we have 16 on our roster) are by far our best recruiters.

Coach Clay Helton is the big closer though, parents love his sincerity and decency.
I'm not talking about Clay Helton.

He's gonna be S.Carol's new OC.
Tbh, that is not likely the case. The SC OC probably being filled by an outsider after bowl game. Not sure if that will cause BM to leave, but if he does, it’s likely not for a lateral move. He is currently titled co OC and that title though meaningless in FB if you aren’t involved in actually running an offense, is still a resume builder. The guy is a great WR coach and recruiter though so Muschamp will go all in to keep him by increasing salary and titles. If he leaves, it’s because he gets upset at not getting the OC gig. He isn’t ready to be an OC from the eyes of SC people. Has never been a play caller at any level.

South Carolina football: Will Muschamp coordinator update | The State

Muschamp can’t say otherwise, wants to keep BM in fold, but not as OC. It’s likely his last chance to finally get an OC pick right and he knows it, he is searching for a proven commodity with so much at stake. He is losing 8 senior starters on D and has to have a legit offense next year or the wheels start falling off, he is aware. Btw, RB coach Bentley is going to be involved in the offense for the bowl game vs Michigan, and he has a long resume of play calling at HS and div II

Why Bobby Bentley should be the Gamecocks' next offensive coordinator

By who? I'm not seeing anything. We need him. We want to own the state, that would do it.

He owns all of middle TN.

I have searched new coach's names and have yet to find a VFL. Someone help me out. I thought PF said he wanted some orange blood back in the program. No? A'rite.

I know. I'm saying Tyson was not a great recruiter...great guy, good coach, just low key on the recruiting trail.

His big brother is the closer, about as good as Pete was, just different styles.

Let's be fair, nobody was as good as Pete at closing. All those houses and cars made everybody love him!

I must have misread it or misunderstood them talking about his recruiting on a local sports talk show.I know Tyson is the better coach but was wrong on the recruiting part.

Better let the NCAA know, they could have hammered us further with the SMU level Death Penalty if they could have found even minute proof that the university had supplied cash and free rent, instead of would be agents that were the felon personal friends of step-daddy. USC was hammered because we "should have known" what was happening 200 miles away.

The NCAA lost millions of dollars battling our former coach, Todd McNair, from bringing his case to trial, claiming the NCAA COI lied and set out to defame him in order to slam the university. The NCAA lost, Todd's suit goes to trial in early 2018.

Tit for tat. Take a joke and move along. You got hammered for it 200 miles away or not. You saying a house can't be bought by someone for someone else outside a hundred mile radius? Either way, take a joke and move along. You're being far too sensitive about 10 year old garbage.

Any one heard of the chances that Jason Witten comes on staff? I realize he has a few games yet to play?

I don't remember hearing a peep out of Peyton after the Schiano crises. Anybody? Who are the best VFL coaches to fill remaining positions? The Colquitts sure could kick. Can they coach?

You cant force former Vols onto a staff just to have former Vols. Pruitt needs to bring in his own guys. If they happen to have played for UT then thats a bonus.
