Pryor Is Out

Didn't Tebow run a ~4.7?

he's fast enough and a strong enough runner to make people respect him taking off and getting 5-7 yards.

He's not the guy who should be in the game running the ball from the QB postion, we are know there are better guys on the team.

I think that has more to do with Ainge being injury prone, then his speed.

He runs too cautiously. You can see it in his stride. You're right, that does factor into his being afraid of being hit mid-stride. But just looking at him scramble... he looks like a giraffe.

Crompton won't kill anyone running the ball, but he's fast enough and a strong enough runner to make people respect him taking off and getting 5-7 yards.

Not sure what makes you think this considering we put him in against Florida and LSU to do nothing but run the ball forward and he looked like a beached whale...

Because everyone keyed in on him running it. If we could have maybe passed it when he came in and through it long it would have maybe came out different.

No offense to the Pryor fans, but who cares? Sure it woulda been nice, but I remember you thought the earth was going to blow up when we didn't get Leak. We survived ok.

Yeah, Florida rode him to the national championship. But no real biggie. We're happy as hobos on a steam grate in winter with our 9 wins.

he would have been a WR here anyway.....i wasn't all that excited about him anyway....Brent Schaffer worked out real well didn't he?

If he truly believed that Cut would utilize his skills he was being straight up lied to....Everyone on this board knows as well as I do that Cut wouldn't have used him in a Spread or any other exciting offense for that matter....

uhhh I thought Chris Leak won the NC his senior season?

He was inconsistent at best, would we have won the NC if he was here? Nope. Hes not the reason Fla won the NC. Sure he contributed, but that D was awesome. Are you telling me out team would have been that much better with him here?

Doubtful we will see another Berry in a long, long time. We have had huge studs on both sides of the ball in the past 20 or so years, but very few were as highly regarded out of high school as Berry and lived up to the hype as quickly as he has.

Scout.com: Does Pryor Know something we Don't?

"Imagine the surprise of this writer as my cell phone rings ten minutes ago and it is the top player on the East Coast Terrelle Pryor telling me that he may have just unlocked the biggest coaching story of the year.

"Add Michigan to my list," Pryor said.

Michigan, the Wolverines? Of course I had to ask is Rich Rodriguez going there because its the only thing that would draw Pryor to Ann Arbor right now.

"I just spoke to Coach Rodriguez about ten minutes ago and he told me he is going to Michigan," Pryor explained. "He said they made him an offer an he can't refuse it."

How is Rod going to implement his offense in Mich? I think he loses more games next year than this. It took several years for him to recruit the talent and implement his spread. Hopefully it allows for some of the Big 10 to figure out what's going on down south.

I would have loved to have kept Coach Cut and landed Pryor too, but so it goes. I hope Pryor does not end up in the SEC in a spread offense kicking our fannies! Word up here in big 10 country is Ohio State has first shot at Pryor.

Yes but If you can't score you don't win no such thing as 0 0 score.

True, but 3-0 does. We have a great field goal kicker. I remember many great SEC games that ended in a very low score. Besides...I think Crompton and/or Coleman will be very good QB's.

Coaches aren't everything. A big part, don't get me wrong, but seriously changing your list depending on where coaches go is ridiculous. #1 player in the nation or not, this kid is like any other clueless blue chip. I'm glad Pryor didn't come to UT...if Cutcliffe would've left in a year or two Pryor would've ran out with him.

Yeah, just like everyone knew Tebow was going to run it last year when they put him in and they stopped him as well...oh wait?
