Pryor's final 6...

I was just simply stating facts that most DT QB's that come to UT end up playing WR. I've never seen him play so I can't really say he will do this or that, but looking at the past, and seeing that other schools are recruiting him for WR, you can make the assumption that "IF" he came here he would play WR and not QB.

Way to make an ignorant blanket statement in an attempt to make a backhanded stab at the coaching staff. Only your point was ridiculous. James Banks was not a QB, at all. He was the best athlete on his high school team so he played QB, which is quite normal. He is at Carson Newman right now and they run the spread. So if he was such a good QB dont you think he would be playing it there? He is not. He is at WR. And do you remember that Schaffer guy we had. Yeah, we ran him at QB. If we get Pryor, I guarantee you we have every intention of using him at QB.

Also, I wasn't trying to take a stab at the coaching staff. Even though we could have better.

Other schools aren't recruiting him for WR. UF is and that is because they brought in 2 top 100 QBs last year along with a JUCO QB with their starting QB only a So.

Not that I'd heard of. USC may have, though, with all of their QB talent. USC never had a chance with him. Texas would be an intriguing pick, like I said, but that is doubtful with Chiles playing backup QB for them.

I did hear on rivals that USC was recruiting him as a WR. There's no question we would give him a chance at QB and basketball to get him here. If we get him on campus, things may look good for us, but otherwise I'd say PSU or OSU...

I actually think WVU may be 2nd behind OSU. Either way, OSU is far and away his leader. Of course, they were supposed to be Ben Martin's huge leader, too.

for some odd reason I have a good feeling about him, could be Gruden's first big impact recruit

the reason is because the AD at PSU is not gonna hesitate when Joe Pa loses 5 games this season.. he's gonna go ahead and make the necessary changes

I don't believe the spread O is the answer to anything Myself .I believe it is a fad that will fade when the D catches up to it. But he would be the Guy you would want to run a spread O for sure.

But if the fad is working right now, you go with it until it is stopped !

They haven't let JoePa go. They aren't going to any time soon, especially with him actually having a legit shot to overtake Bowden.

IDK, I really think Schiano is there to stay at Rutgers. He has great ties to the Miami area so UM would have been perfect and he turned them down. Maybe he likes it in the New England area, though, and will go to PSU.

I can't imagine a high-demand coach staying at Rutgers for the long haul. I think he'll be the top candidate for the Penn St. job -- he spent 5 seasons there as a DB coach from 91-95. I think he'd be crazy to pass that job up to stay at Rutgers...but, who knows...stranger things have happened.

if Florida is recruiting him at WR and the Gators are in his top 3, then he obviously doesn't care if he was moved to WR. However, his best fits seem to be at OSU or WVU where he will no doubtedly play QB.

I wouldn't really worry too much about Florida in this one...I think he's intrigued by their offense, but I think his preference is to play qb. Ohio St. is the team to beat for Pryor.

On a positive note...he said the coaches are the main reason he likes Tennessee...says he's closer to Tennessee's coaches than any other staff. The downside to that is that we'll likely have a shakeup, if not a complete overhaul, in our coaching staff after the season.
