Pryor's final 6...

OSU has the best football/basketball programs overall with two excellent coaches in Tressel and Matta. I think he goes there. I hope we get an official visit from him. Someone posted that he likes our coaches the best so far, so we just might if that statement is true.

EDIT - Actually Florida would obviously have the best bball/football, but he seems to be favoring OSU more. I just don't see how he would end up playing QB at UF.

"I like the coaches at Ohio State a lot," Terrelle Pryor said. "I talk with them a lot and we're really close. I really like (quarterback) coach Joe Daniels. He says they'd switch the system to make it fit me like they did with Troy Smith. They have a great offense and are having a really good season." Terrelle Pryor officially visits Ohio State on Nov. 3 when the Buckeyes take on Wisconsin.

Terrelle Pryor, the 6-foot-6, 210-pound five-star quarterback from Jeannette, Pa., continues to favor the same six schools.

Although Terrelle Pryor, who has over 80 scholarship offers, still denies a leader, he favors Ohio State, West Virginia, Florida, Tennessee, Penn State and Texas. He will be taking an official visit to Ohio State on Nov. 3 when the Buckeyes take on Wisconsin.

"I like the coaches at Ohio State a lot," Terrelle Pryor said. "I talk with them a lot and we're really close. I really like (quarterback) coach Joe Daniels. He says they'd switch the system to make it fit me like they did with Troy Smith. They have a great offense and are having a really good season."

Terrelle Pryor is ranked as the No. 1 quarterback in the country by Scout.com, however, some schools are also recruiting him as a wide receiver. "I'm only looking at schools that want me as a quarterback," he said. "That's why these are my top six. They all say I'll play quarterback.

"I really love the spread offense that West Virginia runs," he said. "They also have really good tradition, especially at quarterback. You can't not consider them. I love how they use their quarterbacks and how they like to air it out."

Terrelle Pryor has often been compared to Vince Young, so it's not surprising that the Longhorns made his short list. "I liked how they used Vince and they have a great offense," he said. "They really stand out because of their coaches too. They all seem like good guys and it seems like a place I might like.

"I just want to make sure I'm comfortable and really want to get to know all the coaches and feel like they'll use me well," Terrelle Pryor said. "All these schools are even right now. It was tough enough narrowing it down to six."

Growing up Terrelle Pryor says he never followed a specific team and was just a big football fan. "I just liked watching any game that was on," he said. "I watched football all the time."

One game that Terrelle Pryor caught yesterday was Florida's upset loss to Auburn. "That was really surprising," he said. "I didn't think they were gonna lose that one, but things happen. I'm sure Florida will regroup and finish strong. They did the same thing last year."

Another SEC program that Terrelle Pryor is considering is Tennessee. "The fan support there is just amazing," he said. "The stadium is huge and they go crazy there."

Penn State is only about two hours from Terrelle Pryor's house, but he insists that distance from home will not be a factor.

Jeannette is off to a perfect 5-0 start and Terrelle Pryor has already passed for about 680 yards, five touchdowns and two interceptions. He says he's completed about 30 of 40 passes. On the ground Terrelle Pryor has amassed an additional 400 yards for nine touchdowns. "I have a great vision and can use my athleticism if I have to. I move well and am really athletic," he said. "But you're never perfect and every time I step onto the field I'm try to getting better and better."

Terrelle Pryor is also being recruited for basketball. He plays guard for Jeannette and finished last year averaging 21 points, 12 rebounds, seven assists and four blocks per game. "I'd like to try and do both sports in college, but we'll see."

I think that might be against policy but oh well. Sounds like the only thing he cares about is playing QB. Fan support is a plus too.

New article on Volquest.com says "Tennessee is in a good spot in terms of getting a visit," Pryor said...he goes on to talk about how great Cutcliffe is and such. I'm not getting my hopes over this though.

Doubt it. Pryor is a Stud. VY-like.
