We need a new punter. Florida would never have been in a position to tie the game if we didn’t kick a short line drive RIGHT to the returner in the 4th. We need to stop trying to be smarter than everyone else with this rugby style BS, or again, just don’t kick it right to the dude on a frozen rope.

What if he kicks it with his other foot? Does that count as replacement?

Why have we not seen a fake yet? The guy runs like a 4.5.

Absolutely. I'm at the point where I want to see them put it on film not just for the successful fake punt but also because the future threat of it will help our punt coverage and punt protection units.

Think the title of this thread is a bit misleading. He messed up with that punt no question but we don't have punting problems. He has put several inside the 20.
Doesn't matter. We're infected with Vols player haters. If there's the slightest reason to denigrate a player, they will. If no reason exists, they will invent one.

He made a bad decision at the end of the game, that doesn't put a punter on the bench when he's been pretty good here

No, on 3rd and 18 , Banks rushes only 4, plays soft zone coverage and allows TD pass. Game should have never went to overtime
