Stallings already makes 1.3 at vandy, doubt purdue would pay him more than that considering painter's situation

Why is Painter leaving his alma mater for Mizzou?

Kevin Stallings and the Big Ten are a perfect fit. Just look at their tournament records!

Purdue to Mizzou is a downgrade.

And when my son heads to Purdue in 2 years, if Kevin "The Office" Stallings is the coach, I will refuse to root for them.

This blows me away! I knew he was upset at Purdue but I really didn't think he would leave. For those asking why, Painter is upset that Purdue won't give his assistants a raise as they are WAY under par what normal assistants make at big time programs.

Poor Robbie Hummell...kid was part of the great recruiting class (thxs to Cuonzo Martin) with JaJuan Johnson and E'Twaun Moore then suffered two straight ACL injuries the past two seasons. That didn't allow him to graduate with them as he wanted and now Painter is leaving.

According to ESPN Painter & Mizzou will meet today and talk.

If Painter does go who does Purdue land?

Stallings makes sense, you figure they have to make a move for Stevens or Smart?
