Qanon -The Storm

If they can ban Alex Jones they can ban everyone.

That's why all speech is protected.

He gleefully breaches the rules of journalistic ethics, regularly making lunatic claims with zero evidence.
Quit defending the idiot. He even admitted he doesn't believe most of everything he writes or says.
These private companies that have a platform for him can do whatever the Hell they want.

Free Speech: We need more not less. Liberals are suppose to be for it. At least they use to be for it. Now they choose to shout down those they disagree with.

Ridiculous comparison.

Deleting a post on VN versus removing all content and banning all future content from an alternative news source are not similar.

It's exactly the same. There's no such thing as free speech in private industry. 1A protects you from the government not VN mods.

Your president just admitted dealings with Russia...
All presidents have dealings with Russia. Uranium One Deal. Bill's paid speeches. Obama's famous, "I'll have more flexibility after the election."

Google has already won a case on this. Excellent sleuthing work AJ.

Google defeats lawsuit claiming YouTube censors conservatives

But the judge said Google and YouTube, both units of Mountain View, California-based Alphabet Inc (GOOGL.O), did not qualify as “state actors” subject to the First Amendment by creating a “public forum” for speech.

“Defendants are private entities who created their own video-sharing social media website and make decisions about whether and how to regulate content that has been uploaded on that website,” Koh wrote.

So did every other candidate that ran in 2016. They also met with leaders from other countries. what is your point?

And yet there is only one candidate that is refusing to meet with special counsel to discuss it. Probably a good idea since he's now been outed as lying about it occurring.

Junior should be sweating.

Since when are we for Twitter, Google, Apple and Facebook deciding what content we are allowed to consume?
Didn’t realize they were the only places to consume content. EVERY content provider decides what they will and won’t allow as content on their platforms. Why would we hold these companies to a different standard? And why have so many of you forgotten what protections, and from whom, free speech is all about. Hint: It’s one word and we need less of it

Many odd responses above about 1st amendment rights vs. private business, considering the stance many of you took in the NFL kneelers thread.

It's either disingenuous, hypocritical, or trolling..
