Not sure what it takes to be a 5*... but as a "thrower" this kid's video shows everything you could possibly want. He throws deep with distance and touch. He hits tight windows with zip. He throws from a platform. He throws off platform. He finds receivers in the mid-level. He finds guys short.

Oh yeah... he's fast and a talented, instinctive runner.

JG taught us to not call a guy the next "great" until you've seen how they deal with the mental part... but this is the best QB recruit UT has had in a long time IMO. Bray makes a nice comparison from a passing angle... but this kid can run.

Sounds like consistency is mainly what he's lacking. Ceiling is as high as it gets based on his evaluation.
