I don’t think the offense will drop off as much as people think with Milton.

Whatever you’re drinking or smoking I need some of that! We need to work for the future play Jackson and then when stud freshman comes in the camp get him ready get a new defensive coordinator new secondary coach and keep the momentum going

Milton is still very capable of generating big plays for us…. I’m very happy he is our backup that has to step in now vs someone else.

Eventually I think he advances the offense. There are throws he makes with ease that Hooker doesn’t even attempt. The curve for the remaining two games (if he’s needed) is him getting the team to the line in the up-tempo. HH is unmatched when that’s clicking.

Agreed. I do think he’ll be more of a power runner dynamic that we haven’t seen. I feel really good about him next year with 2 seasons under his belt with Heupel

hooker missed all night too. shut up
Sometimes you see the reasons he tried to start Milton. Hooker throws high a lot, doesn't like when he's getting pressure. Has a habit of holding the ball when he should just throw it out bounds. Still he's been a good system qb for Heupel. Not sure if his game will translate to the next level.

After the way Milton played tonight when he took over for Hendon, I hope that Nico starts from game one on next year. Yeah we might lose a few but he is our future so minus we’ll let him gain the experience. I remember when Jerry Colquitt got hurt and they threw a kid named Peyton Manning in as a freshman. We saw how all of that experience eventually paid off.

Peyton wasn’t the first choice to replace Colquitt. That was Brandon Stewart. Peyton got the nod after Stewart got hurt.
