Qb Situation in 06

Keep the qb fires buring. Cut will make the best choice and not based pressure from the outside. Personally think Ainge will get job but I've been wrong before. Just hope best man gets job no matter who dat may be.

Ok first off, welcome savage. Second, Ainge will not win the heisman in 07. If the vols have anyone on this team with heisman potential, it's by far Arian Foster. Cut will work his QB magic and he'll have things straightened out. A bad decision would be to name Ainge the man right away. After last season, he needs not take anything for granted.

Come on now, I would love to read the dialogue on Carson Palmer before his senior year.

It is possible but not probable.

Ainge will start out the next two years and be more than capable.

:D

The mechanics are going to be very interesting. Why did Sanders, let alone Fulmer not correct him for two years?

Sanders and Fulmer, "Lets let Ainge throw off of his front leg so the ball with sail over the wide recievers!"

I think we should appeal to the NCAA for a sixth year of eligibility for Rick Clausen, medical hardship or whatever. Someone said on another thread that he was a 300 yard passer. He might win the Heisman with Coach Cut.

Looks like Cutcliffe is already addressing some of the problems with Ainge's throwing mechanics just from studying the film alone.

"Cutcliffe is a control freak when it comes to fundamentals. His Ole Miss teams ran through a 10-play set at the end of every Friday practice, and any mistake in any play obligated the unit to restart the set. Practice wouldn't end until the set was complete without errors. Ainge has loads of ability; watch how much better he plays under Cutcliffe's tutelage. . . . "

He had Eli; with Ainge, this practice will be never ending. :mf_surrender: :mf_surrender:

I'll have to disagree with that. We know what he can do with half-assed coaching.

Agreed. Randy Sanders couldn't run a successful offense if he had the Colts' players.
