Every QB mentioned is in the NFL or has had NFL stints and I am sure I forgot about a few.

meh, im thinking 7-9 (including bowl game) is more like it. not overly impressive. i agree though, things will look a lot different come NSD. whats to say we dont go 6-6, but recruits look at our staff and like what they were trying to implement. they arent dumb, they will be able to recognize the difference from a bad coaching staff and available talent.

I've heard it said that the elite qb's start their relationships with coaches 2-3 years in advance of signing LOI. This years QB crop (elite) was thin and our coaches have not been here a full year or coached a single game. If Jesse S. does the smart thing and picks us, we will all forget this worry and remember why these guys have 3 National Recruiter of the year awards amongst them. If not I say they pick up Nick L. for help this year and next then land the top qb next year out of a much stronger group[. I also think that Crompton will thrive under these coaches the way Ainge did with Cut! jmo

Why is nobody talking about Jesse Scroggins? I'm relatively new here, but I've watched this kid's highlight videos and he can make all the throws accurately AND he is mobile! I know this new system Kiffin is putting in does not call for a dual-threat, but Scroggins is a heck of a passer. I know he is set to announce his decision July 25th, but I would really like to see what he can do in Kiffin's system with some talent around him... it could be scary. IMO Imagine... Brown/Oku/Williams at running back, Scroggins at qb, Nuke/Green/Teague/Prater at WR... that could spell SEC champ

Because its risky going into football season without a QB on board. Waiting for a QB to emerge out of HS is hit and miss.

I understand, but right now we are 0-4. We need a slumpbuster ala Mark Grace to do one :shaking2: for the team.

If we don't get Rettig, then we'll have to settle for a lesser talent or wait it out into the football season, both of which are scary.

we have to have quarterbacks. we have a senior / junior and baseball player. we have to have QBs even if not elite. they will take the best they can get..
