Okay i would just like to know from you guys how you feel about the talent at qb in the 2010 recruiting class.

Do you feel that if Kiffin doesnt lure in Talent like Gray or Sims or Brunetti or Possibly Scroggins. That we can survive next year with Stephens at the helm. Because 2011 we will have a couple good recruits at qb. I believe if kiffin wants to build this program why not make stephens the starter. So when next year comes around he has that experience that we need. I think stephens has more talent then crompton? what about you guys?

Sims and Scroggins are out, I assume you meant Bray and I would say that the Vols have a decent shot at pulling that off. I dunno that I really like Brunetti in a pro-style system anyway, but it would be better than nothing. No, I don't think Stephens can hold it down... but he may be the only option regardless, because I don't think that any of those guys would come in and light the world on fire as a freshman.

I don't think UT can win the SEC without a highly talented QB prospect. It's too difficult. On Stephens, I think he'd have to improve dramaticly for UT to win an SEC championship. Not saying he won't.

I agree with you, from what I saw last year Stephens had a better pocket presence, was more accurate and the better QB.

Hell no Crompton has 10 times as much talent the problem is he has not leveraged it. Does not matter who has the talent, we need someone who can execute. Neither one of these guys has done anything on the field. Nothing.

There was a small number of QBs in this class, that are capable of stepping in as freshman with a chance. At this point we have no angle at any of them. The few that are left, are 2nd year guys. Meaning they are Sophs. before they are ready.
