Hell no Crompton has 10 times as much talent the problem is he has not leveraged it. Does not matter who has the talent, we need someone who can execute. Neither one of these guys has done anything on the field. Nothing.

Our line has a lot to do with it too. Apparently they aren't playing that well.

Brother, I hope your right. I said back in March that I think Sims was going to be our man, but with the strong commitment to that craphole school I don't think our chances are that great. I'll have true hope when he takes an official here.

I guess you can't ever say never with our staff and a recruit that they really want. Ed O and Co will try till the very end and beyond to secure the top recruits on their board.

But Phil Sims? Would be great, but it could be Bray.

Bray has done very well in head to head competition with THE VERY BEST. He was the most accurate at the Elite 11 and has incredible upside. Overall he finished 2nd behind the great Heaps. Outstanding! If he has a break out Senior season he will be a top 5 and maybe top 3 QB prospect.

His downsides are his foot speed and his scrawniness. Those all can improve with hard work and a good S and C program. Ausmus to the rescue!

We "ARE NOT" getting Phillip Sims. Anyone who thinks we are either has a mental handicap or drinks way too much orange koolaid.

I hope CLK gets M Legraux and installs the triple option like Ga.Tech!!

Nu'Keese, Jone, Moore, ect.....on the wing.....wow!That could be interesting!!!!!

Just joking BTW..........

Yeah, but Askew has been quoted saying Phil Sims is interested in what's going on here and he thinks he can sway him.

You ever think that Askew wants his buddies from high school to come down and party with him for a weekend?

That's what I took from that quote, not "Sims will be a Vol eventually".

With this staff no school's recruit is safe until they sign their LOI but I have a hard time seeing Sims in Orange next year.

The discussions of our recruiting forum kids talking about videos and everyone hanging hats on camp results makes me want to hurl. That's the exact reason we have Crompton. We listened to that garbage and forgot about football being live and about quick decisionmaking.
