QBs We Don't Face in 2014

Aaron Murray, James Franklin and if I remember right Connor Shaw are all seniors. So they will be gone. And AJ McCarron

With Murray gone, you will be facing 5th year senior Hutson Mason. Stronger arm, loves the up tempo style and has been ready to play for a couple years already. Not a tremendous dropoff as if the Dawgs were starting a new freshman.

8 home games??!! How does a SEC school get such a weak schedule???

2014 Vanderbilt Schedule
Aug. 28: Temple (Nashville)
Sept. 6: Ole Miss (Nashville)
Sept. 13: UMass (Nashville)
Sept. 20: South Carolina (Nashville)
Sept. 27: at Kentucky (Lexington)
Oct. 4: at Georgia (Athens)
Oct. 11: Charleston Southern (Nashville)
Oct. 25: at Missouri (Columbia)
Nov. 1: Old Dominion (Nashville)
Nov. 8: Florida (Nashville)
Nov. 22: at Mississippi State (Starkville)
Nov. 29: Tennessee (Nashville)

I wished we had that schedule! They are trying to maximize their wins. Cry baby Franklin has tried to buy wins since he has gotten there. They only have 3 wins over teams with winning records in the last 2 or 3 years.

I don't understand the point of this thread. Florida had to use a QB who had never completed a pass in college. And he whipped us. And Missouri's freshman back-up whipped us too. Why would it matter what QB we face when we play so poorly?

Better for you to remain silent than admit you don't understand the elementary.

He is not on Murray's level. If he were he would have been starting. Nowhere near as dangerous.

Also we'll be facing Chuckie Keeton in his first game back from his ACL.

not that it is a concern, but you will see driskel or murphy next year.

With the amount of talent in Gainesville and with the correct hire as OC, there can be a noticeable change for the better with your QB's.

I wouldn't be surprised to see one have a good year in '14.

Hutson Mason for Georgia really looked impressive against Georgia Tech! I actually thought with Georgia facing a slew of injuries this year and then topping off with Murray going out with torn acl that GT would pull off the win.

Mason went 22-36 299 Yards 2TD's & 1 Int in the game but was sacked 5 times. He was pressured and still looked pretty good!

I was about to ask why they were playing 2 FCS teams next year but I had forgotten ODU moved up to FBS. But still, they'll be playing 1 FCS team, 2 FBS teams that are 3 years or less removed from FCS, and Temple, who's been to 2 bowl games in the last 30 years and have been bad since moving back to the Big East/AAC.

And why do they get Ole Miss in Nashville again?
