How is it that the best staff in America doesn't have a commitment from a top 10 rated qb for 2015 when it's such a glaring position of need? When you look at where the elite QBs of the 2015 class have committed it's obvious that many of them are headed places where they have little chance of playing for the next 2-3 seasons. What's the problem with our QB recruiting?

Well, Dormady is rated the #5 Pro style QB on 247.

It's true that if the coaches THOUGHT those guys are championship caliber RIGHT NOW, they would be playing; but, it's not true that the coaches don't think those guys WILL BE championship caliber next year. It's also not true that you have to be championship caliber to get to play for Butch, as is evidenced by our current situation.

I've seen Worley play. He's improved, but he's clearly not one of the best qbs in the SEC. And, yes, I stay upset with our QB situation.

That would be ideal, as well as recruiting future dual threat QB's for this system. But RS'ing Dobbs would be awesome if it were possible, but Worley is getting hit hard and often, may not be possible.

Jermaine Copeland comes to mind as one. Didn't Cedric Wilson play q.b. in high school? Matt Milton played q.b. in high school but ended up being a receiver here before he transferred.

Not sure about that, every site that ranks SEC QB's for QB efficiency and other stats still show Worley around 12 out of 14, just saying.

This is pretty funny stuff. Bo Wallace is lighting it up so far; Dak Prescott has passed as well as Worley (actually, much better according to the rating system) AND run for 100+ yards for two straight weeks; Dylan Thompson in his games against Georgia and A&M (58.6%, 15.5 per completion, 7 TDs, 2 Ints, 162.30 rating) outperformed Worley in his Utah State and Arkansas State games.

A quick edit to add Prescott's beauty against LSU.

I'm guessing you bought a hat at WalMart and...presto....you're a Vol fan. Do you see a backup playing better than Worley? Than no, there wont be much of a chance for a backup QB this year. Does that make you feel really bad?

lol! My only concern about Worley was I hoped he would'nt repeat last year. He's much better than last year.
