Layoffs because of "tax increase" ? Please. How about the spending we're doing: 300 billion a year for Medicare prescription drug plan, 700 billion to nationalize the banking system to fix the credit market, closing in on 1 trillion dollars for the Iraq war when they were not an imminent threat, etc etc. Tax increase? How else to pay for 8 years of ineptitude. Maybe you want to leave it to your kids to fix. By the way, count on John Q Public to feel the pain, not industry.

that was something thet libs made up after the 1st gulf war. When we went to war, all the anti-war whackos thought that war would get the same treatment as the vietnam war, but they were suprised when Americans supported the war and the troops. the pro-troop movement stood up the anti war whackos. so now, they antiwar whackos had to come up with that lame slogan. "support the troops be against the war" it's just code for "we still hate the military"

Possibly one of the dumbest things I have read on this board. I guess this means because I don't support OIF I hate my Dad because he served as a pilot in the AF. Thank's for clearing that up for me.

i don't know about you, but it's your whacko lib leaders, it's the anti-war groups that support the lib leaders. it is they who hate the military and they know it's bad to be upfront and say they don't support the troops. so they made up the whole don't support the war, support the troops.
