Are all of you still in college?
It appears all of you are still in school and have yet to step out into the real world and get a job.
Only because you dropped out by choice though. Correct?
Very good odds you will be back in school next year.
Do you support yourself 100%?
I have a liberal friend who is still in college working on his Masters in English. Guy's car payment and insurance is still being paid by mommy. 29 years old and he tells me I need to understand the real world.
I'm moving to GA at the end of the year. Since I couldn't sign a lease for 6 months at my old house, I moved back in with my parents. I supported myself 100% before, now I just pay car insurance, gas, food, and cell phone bill while I dump money into may savings account to move. So, technically, I'm not supporting myself 100% right now, but could if needed.
Won't be starting college until fall 2012. I'll be totally self-sufficient when I get to GA.

Could if needed is not the same thing as has to or doesn't eat. Big. Big difference.
On a side note, you are pretty young if I remember. Most people your age are not fully dependant.
23. I was 99% independent when I lived away from home. I would ask my mom for advice a lot, but find anyone with a good relationship with their mother that doesn't do that.
I could move today and be independent. There's not much difference.

Have a kid. Get a mortgage. Get back to me.
Not being a jerk, but it tends to change your views.

While I consider myself a moderate, compared to most posters on this board, I am a liberal. Check to all the above 2 girls (5 & 7). Plus 17 years in my current job, worked 2 jobs through college that were like a full time job. Supported myself and paid for my education all through college while earning a partial academic scholly. Car payment, have my own small business (not my full time job), work my 100 acre farm (as much as my health permits anyway) all while battling multiple sclerosis since 2004. Real world enough?Posted via VolNation Mobile
