How much time do you spend on average per week waiting on your wife? I'm asking as I'm waiting for my wife.

Try adding a Mother-in-law to the equation. I'm afraid they're going to find me one day in the front seat of my car looking like those bodies they find buried in volcanic ash.

My wife can appear like she's ready to walk out the door, so I'll go ahead and get in the car, but somehow I still end up waiting.

this.

'pack the baby'. (25 minutes later, and a half tank of gas), 'oh sorry was putting on make up'.

How long did you wait for your wife to exit the car when you reached your destination? This is almost as big of an issue for me.

5-10 minutes. it usually involves finishing said make up. and never question why this wasnt done in lieu of facebook on the drive to said locale.

The real question is: at that point did you keep going?

I had a similar experience once years ago but mine didn't end well.

We were leaving a Tennessee football game, actually, and I was anxious to get out of the parking lot. I also thought my wife was in the car and didn't realize she was buckling my son in the back seat.

I let my foot off the brake and started to ease forward when I heard her yelling at me. I immediately hit the break but the rear tire had rolled onto her foot.

Not knowing whether to go forward or backward, I decided to put the car in reverse. As I let off the brake this time, just before I backed up, the car rolled forward off of her foot. Unfortunately my foot was already in motion to press the gas and when I tapped the accelerator, I rolled over her foot a second time. :pinch:

Thankfully, after a visit to the emergency room, we found out nothing was broken. But needless to say, I was in the doghouse for quite a while.

:eek:lol:

Sorry man.

I have the opposite problem 90% of the time. If it takes 15 minutes to get there, we leave 45 minutes ahead of time..........just so much more comfortable in the waiting room than my chair. :banghead2:

Everyone who knows my wife plans on her being late so they tell us meals and parties are 30 minutes earlier than they really are.

Not married, but growing up with my mother, I experienced it.

My most vivid memory was getting stalled for nearly 3 hours and not leaving for Destin until 10:00 AM. I was furious and we didn't arrive until the evening. My mother and sister both had a way of "doing last minute tasks" that dragged out.
