Question

Aligning Volnation posters to college football coaches using the percieved online personality of that Volnation poster as a control is fun. To pick the coach you think is ''like'' you is like picking your own nickname, not as fun and mostimes no where near accurate.

Then pick for somebody else.

I would have, except I can't come up with anything that hasn't been posted.
For sure I have my own list of Volnation posters/college coaches I could post. But I think some of those might offend some of those, so I don't think it's a good idea.

A combination of Steve Spurrier and Pete Carroll.

Aggressive to the point of delirium.

He would probably look something like this...

Schnellenberger=National Champ.
Hall=Probation and Shame.

Schnellenberger coaches that awful FAU team, doesn't he?

And you are wrong about Galen Hall. He took over as the team was under investigation for what happened in the Charley Pell era. The team went on double secret probation for that back in the early 80's but that wasn't Hall's fault. And now, if memory serves, Hall is an assistant coach for Jole Paterno at Penn State.

Who was the head coach that committed the violations that led to UF being on probation in '90? Galen Hall. Galen was so clean they ousted him in the middle of the '89 season. Don't try to sell revisionist history around here. Nobody's buying.

Go ahead. Those who are offended will simply have to get over it.

this is a fun thread....and i know it's supposed to be college coaches...but i couldn't resist on a couple.
Milo--Jeff Tefford...knows how good he is, then found out about the SEC and was completely impressed.
Hat--Jimmy Johnson, the right amount of knowledge, style, cockiness, and championships that makes no one have middle ground opinions of him. either you you like him or you don't.:)
OWB--Dick Vermil...common sense prevails, and calls it like he see's it...also not afraid to cry.:p
Gavol--Bobby Bowden--just sitting there above us all dispensing his opininion on how things should be, regardless of how they really are.:acute:
AZ--Bill Parcells--his posts that respond to so called stupid posts remind me of Parcells responding to a so called stupid question by the media.:bash:

Actually, everybody you listed was a college coach at one time.

This is tough...
I guess I could go Woody Hayes or Vince Lombardi...I can be fiesty at times.

Majors could be fiesty too, but I don't drink, so I can't be Johnny boy.

Size-wise maybe Ralph Fridgen or Fulmer...I do work like heck a lot.

Possibly John Cooper.

I dunno, anybody else have suggestions?
