yeah the 48 gave him a nice little bump......i think Harvick was scared to stay on his bumper, just incase he ran out of gas....lets hope next week doesnt get decided by fuel milage or rain :bash:

Nothing was stopping Harvick from just staying in front of him or re-passing him, either... :whistling:

Montoya didn't even give Harvick the option of getting close enough to him to have to wreck him!

Kevin did the right thing. 2nd place gets a lot more than 37th in the final finishing order. Harvick had a great car and he didn't race the competition all day and get's 2nd. He didn't want to go up there and do something stupid and drop all of those points when points are so big.

Harvick was stopping Harvick from getting up there and winning. I'm not comparing Kevin to Montoya on road courses, but Kevin's one of the top 5 road racers that run in Nextel Cup so it's not like he's a bad driver. He let Juan go with the intention of both Jamie and Juan running out of fuel. He saved so much that he was able to drive the car all the way into the garage and even then he didn't run out. He kned it was going to be a good points day and didn't want to risk it. 2 things would have happened if he'd try to pass him. Juan would have ran out and they would have crashed or Juan would have wrecked him for the win (if you don't believe me rewatch the Mexico City Race when Juan wrecked Pruett, his own teammate for the win.)

Harvick did what he should have done and the results were a 2nd place finish. Yes, I would have rather have seen him race Juan for the win, but oh well. I was worried about Harvick running out of fuel because his crew chief has been bad about not adding the totals up right and he has ran out. I'm glad they got it right this time.

Juan is a good driver, I will give him that, but his attitude stinks. He came into Nascar with a holier than thou attitude towards the other drivers and has a huge ego that needs to be knocked down a few notches.
