+1 he has a quick release and a pretty good arm

He most certainly does not have a quick release. His release is slow. His arm is good when set girly if in motion. He is a competitor for sure and seems to have a brain. But, we were watching Crompton for too long. My dog now seems like Einstein in the pocket.

That has been the rumor since before Christmas. Drowski would have you believe he is a Cal lock.

Rumor is that Carroll is canceling visits east and has decided to stay west coast.... Also mentioned Cal has been dropped and Ariz St is now in the mix with UCLA. Apparently UF has been dropped but no specific mention of UT just yet.....

I'm not saying this is true hence the first word in my post states "rumor".... I picked it up from a discussion on VQ and summerized in my post. Hubbs stated in the discussion that he was attempting to contact Carroll for confirmation.... I was hoping someone here could verify or discredit this....

I've heard the SC is back in it. I still can't see him going to ucla. He has a much longer standing and better relationship with the cal coaches and UCLA just hasn't produced any nfl players recently at WR.

Ugh, we can give up on him now. It was looking bad, but that seals the deal for me.

"Coach Carroll answered every one of Randall's questions and the situation is positive, now. Coach Carroll said he understands Randall would prefer to play on offense and he admitted he's been wrong with players in the past, but he sees Randall being a star at cornerback. I also showed Randall what the sizes are of the wide receivers and cornerbacks that enter the NFL, so he has a better understanding of what position might be best for his future."
Carroll had previously talked about officially visiting Tennessee, Georgia, Florida and despite his verbal commitment, wouldn't visit USC unofficially or officially. But those plans have changed according to Flores.
"Randall will officially visit Arizona State on Jan. 16 and USC on Jan. 23," Said Flores. "He will officially visit USC with his very close friend Patrick Hall."
