Im glad schools are taking notice. and he definitely is NOT a 2** player. IMO he should be 3 closing in on 4.

A very impressive win today, followed up with a bye week coming up, will hopefully result in some good recruiting news. The staff really armed themselves with some good mo to lock some key recruits in and work on converting a few others.

I like King, but I don't think we're that interested in him. He might be a fallback plan if we have some guys who don't make the grade, decommit, or just pick another team in general.

2010. How would he even be in the picture when we are still in it with guys like Stills and Shaw and JUCO WR we like more?

Jazz King is a sweet and talented guy, but to me has about as much chance ending up in this class as the Mt. Sac guys James Choy tried to talk up to us.

Well, he just made the D-1 DBs (Joyner, Payne, Riggs) of STA look stupid. If he can do that against them, he can play...

From the UF v. LSU game recruits...

• RB Lache Seastrunk.
Boy it must have looked miserable to consider running at LSU after watching that game. No giant runs, no great holes...Think about the Vols, Hardesty is graduating!

• LB C.J. Mosley.
Alabama lean...I will be interested to watch in two weeks when he sees what TN does versus the Tide with vastly inferior talent and superior coaching.
• CB John Fulton.
Some Weisenheimers like Tidewarrior on another thread said he is not visiting anyone and is down to USCe and Alabama...
• CB Joshua Shaw.
Chavis versus Monte K, and now you know...

• DE Ivan Robinson -- Texas A&M. This is a guy who Frank Wilson could not get to visit us.

All Great Knowing One, you must have the force with you.

CJ Mosley will not leave the state of Alabama, and think what you want about our staff but I am very happy with it.

I also said Fulton will not visit any school after next week. According to him he will make his decision after the UA-USC game this Saturday. I think he is a USC lean but we are the only other ones in it for him. Everyone knew he was going to LSU this past weekend. I guess you don't follow recruiting that well.

Lache will be LSU bound. Last night even demonstrated more why they need him and why it would be great fit for him.

Just because a team doesn't do well doesn't mean that much in recruiting. I know a few believe it does but a player goes where they feel is the best for them and feel good about the staff. I know you think that every player in the country is lining up on UTs doorstep but you are very wrong. When you speculate about recruiting try to do it with the orange glasses off. Many others on here do.

Don't be to hard on him. As for myself, I realize I know VERY little about recruiting (just don't have the time or inclination to educate myself). Some on here just haven't faced that facts about themselves...

Saban called Fulton and asked him not to decide until he watched the Tide play Spurrier. Is this supposed to make me certain that Kiffin cannot call Fulton and get him to wait until the end of the month when we will have played Alabama and South Carolina?

I never said I was all knowing, I jokingly called you a wiseinheimer...

Calling Mosley to stay in Alabama is like calling Luc to stay in Florida. It makes good sense but I think that Monte Kiffin is going to have a lot to offer recruits and is going to be able to make hard pushes on guys who will surprise you.

Recruiting "experts" who pay for lots of pay sites and then regurgitate the information are actually incredibly helpful to me and a reason I come on this site.

There have been too many people to count to say that Bryce Brown is a Kansas lock, or Miami lock, or what have you. Chaz Green was a florida lock as well and now is making his decision later because of his UT visit.

No one can accurately predict what a 17 or 18 year old kid will do. Our staff is amazing and particularly on defense we have incredible coaching to sell.

Alabama also has very good coaching but it has a problem recruiting that UT fans should envy, that is tons of talent and depth.

Tidewarrior I enjoy the info you provide on here. Sorry you were offended by my crack.

I am not offended just jabbing back. Maybe could have worded it differently.

In regards to Fulton even though some like our chances I think he might be USC bound next week.

I would be very very careful when you talk about the Bama game. I don't like being a "Debbie Downer" but realistically there is a huge difference between UGA and Bama in every aspect. I am very excited about the job our coaching staff is doing but Alabama is extremely well coached with far far far superior talent. Also don't forget when we punt or kickoff we will be kicking to one of the best if not the best return men in the country in Javier Arenas. Did I mention we are playing there? Whatever happens in this game it doesn't change the direction our program is heading but I actually think we matched up better agaist Florida. Now having said that every Saturday I am proven wrong on my analysis and trust me not a single person ever ask's me for betting advice . GO VOLS!!!!

4* TE Alex Smith from Lakota West (West Chester, OH) was at the Tennessee game unofficially on Saturday.

I'm not sure what to really think of him. I think he's a decent prospect but not a great one. I think his mother is a big-time head-case and could be a headache for this coaching staff to deal with down the road.

At least someone from the coaching staff was heading to Ohio today. I know Kiffin wants a true TE in this class. He maybe a name to watch out for....

Yeah. He was at the game. Not sure what kind of chance Tennessee has, but he was there on Saturday.

Again, I know he's a 4* but I'm not overly excited about him. He's had some off-field issues and a very overbearing parent.
