Had to suit up with the oxygen tank tonight for a low oxygen alarm. Two of the emergency response members just walked off, me and this girl that was in training with me suited up, and went into the area with an oxygen meter. The boss on the other side of the plant is on the team, but not in great shape. Not making fun in any way, he's more of watching the situation, and doing the paperwork, great guy. It was all clear, but he paid me a nice compliment that made me feel good (*get the big head). He asked if I was a lead on my side, and I told him no, I'm just a guy who comes to work for a paycheck. He said I should be, said I show up at these calls and jump in with calm control of the situation, and people there. Told him I had 3 daughters, I've learned to be calm in chaos
Good save, you stayed calm carried on.
Management appreciates folks like you, sometimes it pays to do your job, don’t say what you think and just swell out your chest.
I’d say you acted like a “stud”
