Random, Thoughts, X,XXIV

At my current rate of productivity, which may or may not be sustainable, I should be ready to spray the primer on wifey's minivan in just under 2 weeks. I have set a goal of one body panel per day to get down to bare metal. I have 8 to go plus the bumpers (which just need to be scuffed instead of taken all the way to the plastic). There's a lot of square footage on a minivan.
Then wait a week for all the solvents to cure, wet sand, wash, clean, seal, paint. So in roughly a month it should be done. Weather is also a factor.

Fishin sounds great. But not in the cold. I am a wuss when it comes to being cold.
Plus wifey is starting to get a tad irritated that it has been nearly 2 months since I bought it and it is still sitting in my shop. It looks worse now than it did when I bought it. But you have to demo before you restore. But, this thing (other than paint) is pristine. 2010 model with under 29k on the odometer.

had a beer tonight.

its a really weird feeling.
used to be 15 minimum every night, on weeknights
now its one every blue moon, less than a 12 pack a year
Booze was part of my weekly spending budget for a very long time. None since 2009. I wish I was normal and could go watch a ball gane with some friends and have one or two, but that just simply isn't the case. It no longer bothers me to walk through that aisle at the store now. But it did for a while.

Gave up* beer a few years ago after a test with my doctor on its impact to my triglycerides. Rarely drink alcohol these days. When I do, it’s usually Tennessee whiskey or wine.

*Had a beer last week with my missus after a day of yard work. Love it, but it’s a triglyceride bomb. I’ll continue to abstain going forward.

All this time I thought you were just drunk posting
