Random, Thoughts, X,XXIV

I like Neil Diamond... but you see his vids on YouTube in the 70s, and then the next vids are 2010-13. WFT happened in between, asking for a friend.
I could Google this, but I'd rather here the sheit youse guys come up with. And don't tell me he took time off to date Mamma June.

Well yes... Prudent was dropped, and they put speed limit signs up... Montannan's use then to sight the deer rifle in at 80 miles per hour. Pretty good deal.

I nearly drove up there before it changed just to see how fast my 325i would go. I never got it above 120mph.

I know... tempting for sure. When I take the Mercedes out I hit it and get right up there, but so far I have resisted seeing how fast I can go. Will do it at some point.
This place still has common sense... I was pulled over a year ago and the officer looked at my plates and told me to be careful, a lot of deer around, and Thanks for your service. Nice!

I was coming back from Sardis lake in the mid 70’s on my 74 Harley Super Glide. The Interstate from there to Memphis is straight and you can see for a couple of miles. It was a Sunday morning and there was no traffic. My speedometer had 140 mph on it and I wondered if it would go that fast. Cranked it down and got to 120 still accelerating. Felt like I was floating on a cushion of air. Got scared I might hit something in the road and backed off. Never found out if it would go 140.

You appreciated the limit, very good. Same here, I was mono a mono with the moose in the swamp. I got to a point where I felt the hair on my neck rise, and the moose was snorting thunder... we both knew we reached the limit.

I've run our Maxima to 120 and it feels like it's stuck to the road. I would love to run it at Talledega just to see if it will really do 135 +.
