Bought a cord of fir wood. They are pretty large for the stove. So I went to Home Depot to look for a splitter. Saw two versions... first was a 27 ton hydraulic model for $1K. Too much, and then I saw it. A 4 lb ax. It has a few nice options built in. It is cordless and has a built in heater.... but I find that it overheats quickly, and after awhile it is difficult to restart. I'm sitting here looking out the window, and it is just sitting there waiting for me to start it back up. Dang it that is a lot of work.
