I started coming here because I love VN, but the FF is an overcrowded mess. I like the zone because everyone here is nuts, but still seem to genuinely care about each other, even if it is hidden deep, deep down sometimes*. My goal was to hang out and not act like I'm some kind of OG, because I know I'm not, or disrupt the natural flow of the forum. If I ever feel like I'm not wanted, or flat out told so, I will leave without a fuss.

Weird. I spent several summers at the Ridgecrest boys camp across the interstate from the big baptist compound. Hard for me to get my head around Ashville as a hipster utopia.
