Yep, used to. We like it but found a local roastery (??) that we can walk to.

We drank the dark roast? French roast? Didn’t like Major Dickason at all.

I’ve seen it at Target of all things and local grocery stores. Check the bag for the roasting date. They often go on sale when the clock is ticking down.

My 7 year daughter finally joined the rest of the family and caused her first brawl at a sporting event last night.

She was playing basketball and she tied another kid (a boy) up. They kept jockeying for the ball after the whistle and the boy pushed her down. He got T'ed up. Both of the coaches were now running their mouths. The next time up the court, she steals the ball from the boy and the boy pushes her into the bleachers. Refs toss the little boy and now both coaches are yelling at each other and start cursing. The mom of the boy runs onto the court to get in the ref's face. That woman leaves the court and my wife then (loudly) blurts out that her kid is trash and she is trash for raising a boy that will push a girl. At this point, the two coaches begin pushing and shoving and throwing punches.

I wish they had cell phones (kinda😂) in my heathen days. I used to play in a softball league, and started 2 good ones that were hilarious. I threw a bat at a dude one night, it cleared the benches😂😂

Never for a millisecond have I wished they had cell phones when I was a young heathen. Old heathen me is okay with them.

Random trivia, but the original founders of Starbucks pretty much worshipped the guy that founded Peets. He supplied their original beans, and he was the reason they opened the store. An Ikea type salesman then falls in love with the Starbucks model of teaching people to make coffee versus selling them coffee. Later those founders sold Starbucks to the Ikea (sort of) dude that idolized their product so they could focus on Peet's (they idolized) which they had purchased from their mentor.

Supposedly Peets is the better of the two on quality

Yeah, the Catholics, who we called the fish eaters (they called us the dunkers or sprinklers if it was a Methodist squad), were a bunch of asses. It was not uncommon to have a dust up or two at a game. Often as not, the fight had nothing to do with the game but everything to do with what those Catholic girls were doing in their spare time.
