I wasn't disagreeing, but that's why I said they didn't get into details, I find it hard to believe they didn't have some sort of insurance that would have covered some of the repairs, but like all insurance there was probably a deductible of some sort and the out of pocket for something that major was 10's of thousands of dollars.

Yep. With the collapse I think most condo dwellers will now be willing to pony up with the deductibles.

My grandson used to adore his father who was never involved in his life. I think that’s cooled off as he got older and realized what a shithead his father is. He was raised from birth by my wife and me. I think she loved that boy more than her own daughters or me. I miss her. 😢

The Ex hubby has broken my heart more in the way he has disappointed my son, than anything he did to me. He has to be the picture beside dickhead in the dictionary.
Edit: that’s so crushing to see that for your grandson, knowing you can’t fix it for him.
