What kind was she? Tell me bout her
Cat-mutt. Turned up barefoot and pregnant, weighing four pounds, the night before a forecasted snow and moved on in. She made it to age 17 (best guess) before FIV got her this past fall, 5-6 years after infection by a fight with a feral cat.

Like all cats, she had a dozen or so names, including vet names, but we called her Bumps, after the comic view from behind while watching her go down the stairs. Bumpty-bumpty-bump.

I would have guessed that she was a Siberian cat, if it weren’t for the utter impossibility of a Siberian cat gone astray in South Knox County in 2004. And the fact that with her stumpy little legs, she REALLY hated snow.

Not me, not Bumps, who topped out at about nine pounds:

Another Google Siberian cat:

@82_VOL_83 what is your opinion on Pit Boss grills/smokers?

This is a legitimate question.
The most important thing with a pellet smoker and any smoker for that matter is temperature control. The Pit Boss is probably OK but Traeger has been working years to develop a control system that keeps temps even close to steady. I think from a longevity standpoint they are fine. If you are getting a pellet smoker, you will just have to see how you like it. My go to brands are Weber and Traeger. Warranty plays a big role also.

@95 Vol Alum I've been curious about something...

Have you ever taken your scooter through a drive thru? And if so, do you have extra storage in case the establishment is running a special? For example, Burger King's BOGO Whopper deal...

I have not. Through other experiences, I have learned not to drive my scooter on public roadways.

A bit more... What I don't like with the Tragers is the thin metal skin... so I went with a RecTec, heavy duty, and holds 40 lbs of pellets... never a concern for long cooks for briskets.

Bought tickets to the Anthony Bourdain film for Sunday
I read about that. Is it about how focused he was on his girlfriend and her, uh choices and him traveling all the time, His feeling like a failure for not being the type of dad to his children like he envisioned he wanted? He was very passionate about food and learning everything about it, not just about how to prepare it.

How are they for steady temp? The newer Traegers have a big enough hopper to cook a brisket. My first one didn't. @Souce I looked at the pit boss today. Looked like a heavy duty grill. Didn't like the enameled grates. Would check to see if you can get stainless.
