This is exactly why I hang on to phones, I absolutely want and threaten to throw the new phones outside to keep the ants and worms company.

Terrible news -- I have lost my extensive database of GIFs due to a corrupt file on my SD card.

I feel nekkit.

I’ve had an iPhone for years (don’t ask how long). Mom is on my plan and we are both due for a upgrade. I can’t make up my mind if I want to stick with iPhone or move on. Doesn’t matter what I decide, I’m sure I’ll be ready to hurl it after a couple of minutes of the process of activation.

Hubs’ ancient iPhone died, and we tried to “upgrade” to a rehabbed 8, and it was awful. We decided to just go to a 12 and get something new. Verizon has a good online deal, because OF COURSE a new model is coming out in the fall, and they’re unloading their inventory.

Happy with it so far, and this is from someone grimly hanging on to a 2007 (?) MacBookPro. I don’t upgrade lightly.

I’m not on their demographic radar either, but at some point, they seem to send the Apple kill signal, and everything goes to hecky-poo.

My tipping point was when tapping on various links no longer worked.
