Prayers your way Gordon....I finished that Paxlovid yesterday. I tested positive a week ago tomorrow, and I have not run a fever in a few days. I'm not really coughing either. But this dam Paxlovid (or the Covid) has wiped out all my energy. I was awake maybe four hours yesterday. I missed school pre-service, and I have to try to go tomorrow (first day for students).
There's nothing in the tank right now, though.
glad you more or less ignored them today - not worth it to get a suspension in that forumHey @508mikey, I appreciate your support over there in that other thread yesterday, I
felt like you were my bouncer over there watching in the background
This is the absolute garbage that gives “Christians” a bad name.
You have no say in what keeps people out of heaven. You have no say in what a sin is. All you do is chase people away from the love of the most high. Please STFU with your gnarled finger of judgment. If I were you I’d be worried about the words of Mathew 7. You who replace G-ds law with your own and practice lawlessness.

You're not allowed to carry at a high school, or the property, despite the law. This wasn't because of the law, it was someone breaking the rules already in place. A high school is a gun free zone, even the football facilities. Not trying to argue, just saying that constitutional carry wasn't the blame here. It didn't change the gun free zones like high school, hospital, etc. We still have signs at our school, and hospital. In Savannah, GA, a high school football game ended abruptly with teams fleeing the field and fans fleeing the stands because of a fight potentially escalating to gunfire. Georgia’s “constitutional carry” law allows anyone to carry a concealed weapon anywhere. I’m a gun owner, but this law is asinine.
That makes sense but if a carry permit person was there armed he could’ve eliminated the threat of the person shooting at everybody. You're not allowed to carry at a high school, or the property, despite the law. I think he'd still probably end up in trouble unfortunately. Even with a permit, if you're caught here it's not good in a school zone. There was a dad in the pick up line last year in Rusty's area with a weapon, he just forgot to leave it at home, and he got arrested. That makes sense but if a carry permit person was there armed he could’ve eliminated the threat of the person shooting at everybody.
I would like to believe that what you've posted is true, however, the restrictions of which I'm aware precede constitutional carry and arguably are made moot by constitutional carry. I believe that government property should be weapons free zones and that owners of private property should be allowed to prohibit weapons and treat those who breach their prohibitions as hostile. I do not see these clearly protected by constitutional carry. The name may be appealing, but the law as written and passed is flawed. You're not allowed to carry at a high school, or the property, despite the law.
