Dilated cardiomyopathy with myocarditis, meaning an enlarged, pooped-out heart (from unspecified causes) that could no longer effectively push blood through the body, so that cells weren’t being nourished with sufficient oxygen and nutrients, with an acute inflammation of the heart muscle. (And some liver stuff.) I was trying to avoid Big Fancy Words.
