Randy Moss a Titan

So what do y'all think about his attitude? Do you think he is going to get an attitude with Jeff Fisher? Do you think Fisher will keep Randy in line? Just curious.
We had enough crap with Pacman Jones.

Caught a bit of Fisher on Dan Patrick today/maybe yesterday but I didn't hear any mention of the Titans going after Moss.

I think Fisher will be fine. Especially if this really was one of the places Moss wanted to go to.

If he plays well, I think they will. Moss+Britt+CJ= dangerous offense.

Another thing to consider (or actually two).

1. You have to consider that CJ has a limited number of miles left on those legs, so you have a very narrow window of opportunity with CJ. This deal makes a lot of sense if you are one that believes you have to strike while the iron is hot.

2. If they do offer Moss a contract, how will they handle CJ's contract? He was already dissatisfied with the deal he signed this summer. I'm just saying.

Why do people always bring up attitudes when it comes to players like T.O. and Moss? All you have to do is throw these guys the ball and let them score touchdowns. Seems like a pretty easy way to keep these guys happy.

This is either going to work out really well for the Titans or give me a lot of enjoyment over the 2nd half of the season.

Either way, I'm not convinced this makes them a Super Bowl team. The AFC is loaded.

Wow awesome.

This can help out Chris Johnson so much.

....how many years does Moss still have on his current contract?

alot of that though had to do with the fact that they couldn't restructure his main contract more than (I believe it was 10%) per NFL policy since he had not played 3 seasons in the league. It wasn't so much a "we don't want to pay you more money" as it was "we can't (unless we gave you a massive one-year signing bonus that even the league analysts were debating could be a bad idea)

I'm not kidding myself. I know Favre has contributed the most to the mess up in Minny, but Randy Moss didn't exactly help. He only made things worse.

the vikings team's been and was a mess everywhere this season

the defense hasn't been playing too well at all either; it was really all over that team since about week 1 or 2

Really sad how much Adrian Peterson's season has been overshadowed by all of this nonsense with Favre and Childress.

This could have been said a month ago, just sayin.

somewhat. I was thinking about the defensive dynamic a day or so ago regarding a bit of a difference there though.

Teams seemed to take the "double cover Moss" route on defense against Minnesota because - don't get me wrong Peterson is an absolutely great NFL RB - but he's...well...he's going to get his yards, drive down the field, get scores, etc, but at the same time he's not really as much of a risk towards a long type momentum-swinging score if there's not an extra man watching him all game (they'll take Peterson driving down the field over several plays rather than risk Moss getting some sort of deep touchdown pass....if that all makes sense)

It kind of becomes interesting, I feel, with the Titans because defenses are already keeping an extra man on Chris Johnson each play he's in so as to further prevent any big play or long score. If they end up having to do the same with Moss - as teams have still been the last few years - that can create a pretty interesting dynamic since both draw that same kind of extra coverage.

The Colts say thank you, should only be a mater of time before the Titans start having internal issues :)

Hearing this news made me the happiest guy in Nashville. Best news I've gotten in a long time.
