Randy Moss a Titan

You don't gamble like this in order to make yourself a playoff team. The Titans obviously think this makes them a Super Bowl caliber team.

I really hope no one in the titans org thinks they are SB contenders

What does that have to do with moss and the titans? Ya might as well have said scrambled eggs are better than poached eggs.

they got Moss to try and compete with Indy. Shouldn't be that hard since Indy is walking into their weekly gunfight with one bullet right? Right?

Kerry Collins played with Moss for a year in Oakland, and he said before the waiver deadline that he never had a problem with the receiver.

"He was professional, respectful, he was a team guy,'' Collins said. "I think a lot of the stuff that you see and hear gets overblown. The guy speaks his mind. He's very truthful with what he says and that doesn't always play well. He was a great teammate.''

This move should help CJ get his yardage...but on the other hand if CJ doesn't start hitting the hole with authority and stop dancing around, it might not matter.

On the back of one of the greatest Qbs of all time. I'm not trying to take that away from you all, but you still play finesse football.

Is it supposed to be an insult? We finesse our way to the endzone pretty often.

And why not? They were a playoff team before the acquisition. Why can't they be a super bowl contender with the best back in the league, top five and top ten receivers, and easily top five offensive and defensive lines? Plus a dynamic quarterback that adds a fourth unique playmaker opposing defenses must gameplan for. Oh and the defense is pretty stout, too.

Way to spit nonsensical dribble from your ass. You should be a sports broadcaster.

I love it when colts fans say "we" like they are a team. Your team is one player. If Peyton were to retire tomorrow, Indy would be irrelevant.

wow, settle down a bit Francis. Are you sure they're a playoff team? Sure they're still in contention but nothing is a lock at this point. The Colts will more than likely win the division and I'm not sure they're one of the better teams left. Assuming the addition of a WR who plays only when he knows the ball is coming to him doesn't suddenly change that. The titans are a decent team but not one of the best in the NFL

More of a playoff contender.

I don't consider the texans a threat. And until I see more consistency from peytons squad, I see the titans winning the division. Indy will go down to Philly this week and I'm hoping the titans will sweep them.

I'm more afraid of the wildcard teams than I am the colts.

But yes, playoff contender.

But how often is the superbowl champion merely a "playoff contender" midway through the season?

Why would any 5-3 organization ever regard themselves as anything but a superbowl contender? That was my initial point I guess. That comment was just arrogance from the poster who posted it.

What evidence is there that the colts will "more than likely" win the division? Do you just assume that year after year? I don't think the colts will make the playoffs this year.

4 games against the Colts and Texans. I don't see you guys going 3-1 against those two. Hell, your home game against the Colts is on a Thursday. I wouldn't want a short week to prepare for Peyton.

I think the short week is more a disadvantage for Peyton, because his preparation IS why he's so good. He's so familiar with the titans though I don't think it'll be a huge issue, but the addition of moss could help as he won't have as long to study him, but he has played numerous times against moss with the pats.

If the titans are healthy I'll be happy with nothing loss than sweeping the texans. They probably split with the colts, but I don't want to make a prediction until I see how moss plays out.

why is Peyton game planning around Moss? Not really important unless he's starting at CB that week

So you don't see how three less days is a disadvantage to a defense playing against Peyton?

Has been a pretty safe assumption this whole, well... millennium.
