I have never been a Sanders fan, but this season I have come to a few conclusions about him that puts him in a better light (for me at least).
1. He's loyal - No matter how much criticism the man takes or how many are calling for his job, he still shows up and does his job.
2. He CAN make things exciting when necessary. The Vols didn't come from behind at LSU on willpower alone.
3. He benefits the team in more ways than just playcalling. I have never heard any quarterback speak negatively of his training, but I HAVE heard them praise him. Many times.
I used to criticize CRS too. Very vocally. But I think since he is the one on the sidelines day in and day out at practice, HE knows which plays the players execute with the most success and can be trusted to call the ones they have the greatest chance of executing well.
I'm sure Sixy will come and shoot about a million holes in this post, but I say firing Randy Sanders alone will not fix what ails our offense.

and this was the 2nd game in a week (and the first one was an emotional nuclear bomb which could have blown up in this teams face) The whole staff (inclunding Randy) did a good job not letting the team "overlook" Ol Miss after ssuch a dramatic win just 5days ago!

So's my dog and my meter reader.

Five yard outs aren't exciting. LSU made it really easy on us by playing very soft coverage.

No QB (especially those in competition with each other for the job) will openly criticize his OC. Our QB's don't usually get much better while they're at UT (see Casey Clausen, C.J. Leak), and Ainge seems to have de-evolved since his Freshman year. This also may be a reason why Jimmy Clausen doesn't want to play for us . . .

I agree, but ever OC should know his offense the best. However, to respectfully debunk your theory, we've run the same plays and play calls for years now, but the personnel has changed. We have enough talent to score on anybody, yet we never seem to get the most out of their talent.

Nah, he's changing. I don't remember one WR screen yesterday. I don't know about you all, but I'm pretty excited!
