3-Florida... I hate 'em, truly I do, but not as much as Georgia for me!

4-Auburn..memories of a now dead yearly rivalry!

5-South Carolina... This is a Spurrier thing for me, love the state!

6-Georgia Tech... not in the SEC, but see #4!

7-Arkansas... I'm surprised by how quickly this one has grown in my mind!

8-LSU... The thought of a loss to them in tiddlywinks would rankle me!

As for the rest, no real hatred there, lets just get 'em when they pop up on the Schedule!

I dont see how Bama isnt 1st on everyone's list not just fior recent events but because of the history of the rivalry. Sure Spurrier created a new rivalry for us but Bama has always been there and always will be there as our most hated rival IMO.

I totally &^%%$ agree. 10-1 and lose to Bama or 1-10 and beat Bama.........I'll sit at home on NEw Years Day replaying the Bama victory.

Ten years from now, Florida might not even make anybody's list. They could easily be a "flash in the pan" and be overtaken by Georgia or SC as the other big yearly contender in the East (if they haven't already). Alabama, on the other hand, has a historic rivalry with Tennessee that predates even my conception. Ask the fans that have been around for a good while and you'll see.

Anyway, now that Spurrier is gone, I almost feel sorry for UF. I mean, have you ever been to Gainesville, "The Armpit," Florida?

I hope you're right man, but with Florida's resources, in-state talent and location, I think they have the most potential of any team in the SEC for the foreseeable future... gag. At least they have to complete with FSU and Miami in-state.

But your point is taken. The third Saturday in October has history that nothing associated with the gators will match.
