LSU should be #1. Auburn shouldn't be #1. RBs? WRs? Cox? Good defense, but still big losses and questionable offense.

Auburn has the talent and experience to be no.1. They are the no.1 choice for me just above LSU bc of LSU's unproven QB. Bama, IMO is not better than UK. UK has much more players returning an excellent offense as well. Bama won't be turned around in one year. The same may be said for Arky over Alabama. Arky has a much more explosive offense and their defenses are about even. In my opinion there is no question LSU, Auburn, UF, UT, USC, UGA belong above Bama right now.

Alabama doesn't need turned around, they were a pretty decent team last year. If they had a kicker they'd have beaten Arkansas, gave UT all they wanted for 3 1/2 quarters... they don't need turned around, just a little discipline. Alabama belongs ahead of Kentucky because of the defense, Kentucky has none, Alabama, with Saban, will always put out a good defense. LSU's QB tore up Miami in the Peach Bowl a couple years ago, so it's not like he's never played before, the kid is pretty good. They have talent running around everywhere, they are clearly the best SEC team.

That's 1 game. 1 game. That doesnt mean he is ready to be an everyday SEC QB that will carry a team to an SEC championship. He still has more to prove.

Cox hurt Auburn more last year than helped them. That was with Irons. They also lost alot of leadership on defense and most of the other playmakers on the team.

Brandon Cox didn't look so hot last season and they lost Kenny Irons. Arkansas doesn't have a competent QB, plus they lost a good WR and 3 offensive linemen. I don't see big things coming from either team.

Agreed. I wouldn't be surprised to see Bama finish ahead of Auburn and Ark.

I have a gut feeling about Auburn. There's always a chance at a great season with a veteran QB. We'll see how the surrounding talent (which they do have) falls in place.

Who knows? I could be wrong. I thought UF would suck this past year. Meyer said the O-Line was terrible and they didn't have any good running backs. I suppose it's possible Auburn could pull off a similar shocker.
